Goal Getter – Eating right

Last week I did really well with my goal. This week, I'm trying to figure out where I need to put my focus. I need to wrap up the current Getting Ready For Baby, but I'll probably do that today so it isn't really a good thing to focus on for the entire week. I'm pretty caught up on my freelance stuff right now. I did our taxes yesterday, so finances are ok for now. I could focus on social relationships, meal planning/food, or physical fitness.

I really want to focus on meal planning/food this week because last week we ate horribly. However, the reason for this is that our fridge is dying and we got a new one Saturday. It won't be delivered until Wednesday, unfortunately. Still, I think I can make this a focus. So for this week, I'm going to focus on getting us eating better again.

My daily tasks are:

  • Make the bed EVERY DAY.
  • Put away the clean dishes in the morning.
  • Spend 10 minutes a day on dishes.
  • Do something laundry related every day.
  • 10 minute pick up before bed.

For my weekly task:

  • Clean the bathroom (which consists of: putting away products, wiping down surfaces, checking shower for empty bottles–Mr. LL is notorious for doing leaving empty bottles in the shower)

Checking In

This week I've been focused on getting some behind the scenes work done over at LV Book Design and I'm happy to say that I'm pretty much done. Aside from scheduling the social media for next month, I've knocked out a lot of projects and I'm very happy about my progress.

I've been doing OK with chores. I feel off this week though, mainly because our fridge is all-but-dead. We went looking for a new one last night and have some other stores we want to hit up before we buy, but that this means that I can't really grocery shop this week. Eating out for EVERY. SINGLE. MEAL. is killing me. My stomach is not happy. And I'm out of my routine. I don't mind the break from dishes though, but the not so healthy foods we've been eating has left me with little to no energy for doing my evening tasks.

GETTING READY FOR BABY

PHASE #1:

  • Get organized. As done as I can be for now.
  • Clean out the crib space. Have a HARD deadline for this to get done now, since our crib and changing table will be arriving next week! :D

Goal Getter – Blogging + Freelance

Last week's goal never happened. Sigh. But I need to switch focus this week. Normally I'd just continue with the goal till I achieve it, but I have some pressing blogging and freelance maintenance that I need to take care of. A little bit here, but most of it over at LV Book Design. So this week, in addition to my normal tasks, I'll be focusing on getting my February blog posts (LV Book Design) and some new pre-made covers to put up for sale in the shop.

My daily tasks are:

  • Make the bed EVERY DAY.
  • Put away the clean dishes in the morning.
  • Spend 10 minutes a day on dishes.
  • Do something laundry related every day.
  • 10 minute pick up before bed OR Getting Ready for Baby.

For my weekly task:

  • Clean the bathroom (which consists of: putting away products, wiping down surfaces, checking shower for empty bottles–Mr. LL is notorious for doing leaving empty bottles in the shower)
