2015 In Review
I was looking back at old posts, Instagrams, and photos from the year and I was surprised by how much I did this past year! When I started going through my personal archives, I began with the mindset of "man, I don't know what I'm going post in my review...I didn't really do anything". Boy was I wrong!
First, I re-launched my blog! I designed and built a webpage, bought a domain and haven't looked back since!
I've worked on new content, updating how I do old content, tried my hand at webcomics and podcasting on here. I think I know how I want to work on this blog moving forward, but 2015 was definitely a year of figuring it all out!
We got this monster in January 2015 as well! He's a mess, but I love this crazy mutt! Bigby has been a fun addition to our little family, even if he does:
• Terrorize the cats
• Eats anything he can find...
• ...including cat poop
• Refuses to let anyone cuddle without him
lineI still love this monster.
Mr. LL and I took a mini-vaca to New Roads, LA.
The children's book I illustrated released and I got to do a book signing! (Now for sale here!)
Mr. LL and I moved to a new house. Still renting, of course.
I tried my hand at freezer cooking, so I can check that off my bucket list!
Another check off the ol' bucket list: I dyed my hair purple!
I launched LV Book Design!
And all of this happened too:
- Gay marriage became legal in Louisiana!
- I went to the first Venture POP! conference
- I got promoted to Assistant Director at work
I hope you had a great 2015, and here's to looking ahead to 2016!
